PostgreSQLCert – Code of Ethics & Professional Conduct
At PostgreSQLCert, we are committed to upholding the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, fairness, and ethical conduct in all aspects of our training and certification programs. All students, candidates, partners, and affiliates participating in PostgreSQLCert programs must comply with this Code of Ethics.
By enrolling for training or certification, candidates acknowledge and agree to adhere to this code.
1. Professional Integrity & Honesty
Candidates must act honestly in all interactions with PostgreSQLCert, including during training and examinations. Misrepresentation of credentials, results, qualifications, or experience is strictly prohibited.
2. Exam Integrity
All candidates must maintain the security and confidentiality of PostgreSQLCert exams. Cheating, unauthorized assistance, use of prohibited resources, or any conduct that compromises exam integrity is strictly forbidden.
3. Respect & Fairness
Each candidate must treat others with respect and courtesy. Discrimination, harassment, and abusive behavior are not tolerated in any PostgreSQLCert training, exam environment, or community forum.
4. Confidentiality
Candidates must not share or publish proprietary PostgreSQLCert content including exam questions, answers, training materials, or secure information without explicit authorization from PostgreSQLCert.
5. Compliance with Law
Candidates are required to follow all applicable laws, regulations, and certification policies. Any engagement in illegal activities (before, during, or after certification) may result in disciplinary action including certification revocation.
6. Responsible Use of Credentials
Certification earned through PostgreSQLCert must be represented accurately in resumes, profiles, websites, and public communications. Misuse or false claims about certification status are prohibited.
7. Conflict of Interest Disclosure
Candidates must disclose any actual or potential conflicts of interest related to their work with certification content, exam development, or partnerships that could affect the integrity of PostgreSQLCert programs.
8. Intellectual Property Respect
Candidates must respect PostgreSQLCert’s intellectual property and that of its partners. Unauthorized distribution or copying of materials or digital content is forbidden.
9. Continuous Professional Development
Certified professionals are encouraged to pursue ongoing learning and stay current with PostgreSQL technologies, best practices, and ethical standards in the industry.
10. Reporting Ethical Violations
If a candidate becomes aware of violations of this Code of Ethics, they should promptly report the matter to PostgreSQLCert support or ethics review. All reports will be treated confidentially and investigated appropriately.
Consequences of Violations
Violations of this Code of Ethics may result in:
Revocation or suspension of certification
Disqualification from exams or training programs
Permanent ban from PostgreSQLCert services
Legal or disciplinary actions when applicable

By participating in PostgreSQLCert training or certification programs, you agree to abide by this Code of Ethics and maintain the highest standards of professional conduct.
