Cancellation, Refund, and Rescheduling Policy
This Cancellation, Refund, and Rescheduling Policy (“Policy”) governs all purchases of training programs, certification exams, exam vouchers, and related services (“Services”) provided by PostgreSQLCert. By registering for, purchasing, or accessing any Services, the purchaser and/or registrant (“Customer”) acknowledges and agrees to be bound by the terms of this Policy.
1. General Conditions
- All fees paid to PostgreSQLCert are non-refundable except as expressly stated in this Policy.
- All cancellation, refund, substitution, and rescheduling requests must be submitted in writing to support@postgresqlcert.com and are effective only upon written acknowledgment by PostgreSQLCert.
- Refunds, if approved, will be issued to the original method of payment, less applicable processing, administrative, and third-party fees.
- Access to any course materials, labs, recordings, virtual environments, or exam-related content constitutes full acceptance and consumption of Services, rendering the Customer ineligible for refunds or substitutions.
2. Public Training Events — Cancellation & Refund Schedule
For instructor-led public training events (virtual or onsite), the following cancellation penalties shall apply based on the date PostgreSQLCert receives written notice of cancellation:
- Cancellation received sixty (60) days or more prior to the scheduled start date:
→ Customer shall be liable for a fifty percent (50%) cancellation fee of the total training price. - Cancellation received between four (4) and eight (8) weeks prior to the scheduled start date:
→ Customer shall be liable for a seventy-five percent (75%) cancellation fee of the total training price. - Cancellation received within four (4) weeks of the scheduled start date:
→ Customer shall be liable for one hundred percent (100%) of the total training price.
→ No refund shall be issued.
3. No Refund After Course Commencement
No refunds shall be granted once a training course has commenced, including but not limited to:
- Attendance at any portion of the course
- Access to training materials or labs
- Receipt of login credentials or digital content
Failure to attend, partial attendance, or early withdrawal does not constitute grounds for a refund.
4. Rescheduling
- Rescheduling requests must be submitted in writing and are subject to PostgreSQLCert’s sole discretion and availability.
- Rescheduling requests submitted within four (4) weeks of the course start date are not guaranteed and will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
- Rescheduling fees may apply, and approval of rescheduling does not waive any applicable penalties or fees.
Rescheduling does not reinstate refund eligibility or reset cancellation timelines.
5. Substitutions and Transfers
- Customer may request a substitution of another qualified attendee prior to course commencement and prior to accessing materials, subject to administrative approval and fees.
- Transfers to another PostgreSQLCert training event may be permitted prior to course start; any difference in pricing and applicable administrative fees shall be the responsibility of the Customer.
- PostgreSQLCert reserves the right to deny substitutions or transfers at its sole discretion.
6. Online Materials and Digital Content
- Once any online materials, labs, recordings, downloadable content, or access credentials are issued or accessed, no refunds, substitutions, or transfers shall be permitted.
- Digital content is licensed, not sold, and is deemed fully delivered upon access.
7. Certification Exams and Exam Vouchers
All PostgreSQLCert certification exam vouchers are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable, without exception.
This applies to:
- Standalone exam voucher purchases
- Exam vouchers bundled with training
- Vouchers with single or multiple attempts
Scheduling, rescheduling, failure, or non-use of an exam voucher does not entitle the Customer to a refund or credit.
8. Partial Refunds
PostgreSQLCert may, at its sole discretion, issue a partial refund where administrative costs, instructor allocation, materials provisioning, or partial Services have been incurred. No partial refund shall be deemed a waiver of this Policy.
9. Cancellation or Modification by PostgreSQLCert
- PostgreSQLCert reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or modify any training event, exam session, or Service.
- In such cases, PostgreSQLCert’s sole obligation shall be to offer either:
- A full refund, or
- A credit toward a future PostgreSQLCert Service of equivalent value
- PostgreSQLCert shall not be liable for travel, lodging, lost time, or indirect costs incurred by the Customer.
10. Governing Authority and Final Determination
- PostgreSQLCert retains sole authority to interpret and enforce this Policy.
- All determinations regarding refunds, cancellations, substitutions, and rescheduling are final and binding.
